Factory reuse: Codebò office building

A former industrial building has been converted into Codebò s.p.a Ascensori offices and warehouses. The east façade has been completely opened to host the main entrance, exhibition space and atrium: a sinuous path along a moulded garden reaches a deck surface covered by the cantilever roof, faced by a continuous window façade.

A new external cladding has been provided: a stretched zinc-coated steel mesh creates a screen juxtaposed to the volume, acting as a semitransparent skin reflecting light in multiple ways during the day.
