Residential building in via Saluzzo, Torino

The project envisaged the addition of a new volume above an existing building dating back of the early years of XX Century, and the building of a new one in the nearby street, in the historical urban tissue of Turin.

The first one features deep balconies and wide glazing protected by timber shutters: the new volume counterpoints the pre-existing building and produces a feeling of lightness ascending the façade.

The second building is characterized by the same timber shutter system that acts as a continuous

cladding at every level, appearing as a variable skin all along the balconies.
